Petrolia, situated about 13 miles northeast of Henrietta, is a small town rich with oil history. It was incorporated in 1909 and named after the flourishing petroleum industry in the area. As of the last census, Petrolia has a population of around 600 residents (source: U.S. Census Bureau).
