Iowa Park, Texas
Iowa Park is a lively city located 34 miles northwest of Henrietta. With a population of about 6,400, it offers a welcoming small-town feel with the conveniences of a larger city (source: U.S. Census Bureau). The city was established in 1888 as a settlement along the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway.
The main streets, West Park Avenue and North Yosemite Street, feature a host of local businesses. The city is known for its well-maintained park system, especially the Gordon Lake, which offers a perfect spot for picnics, boating, and fishing. Iowa Park is also home to the Hawk Statue, a symbol of the local high school’s mascot, and a point of town pride (source: City of Iowa Park).

To reach Skelton’s Shop from Iowa Park, start on West Park Avenue heading east. Continue onto State Hwy 370 Loop E, then merge onto US-287 S. Stay on US-287 S for about 26 miles, then take the TX-148 exit toward Henrietta. Turn right onto TX-148 S. In Henrietta, turn left onto E Omega St, right onto N Bridge St, and left onto E Wichita St. Skelton’s Shop will be on your right.
